Ranks and Prestige

Ask a full server for the Underground War 2.0 rank ladder and you will get three different answers, all delivered with confidence. This page will not add a fourth. capserg has not published an official XP table — no points-to-level chart, no named ranks, no prestige cost. Community talk is real (Prestige 5 comes up constantly; weapon level around 200 and ~300% shovel/sword show up as late-game boasts), but it is still talk. If a wiki shows a color-coded 1–50 list with invented names, that list was made up.

What is documented is the scoring that feeds the number. Two dirt blocks = 1 team point and $1 Cash. A kill = 7 points and $7. A flag capture = 50 points and $50. The winning team gets the round. Rank XP and Cash both move when you play; Cash is the wallet you spend in the upgrade menu, Rank XP is the account badge people mean when they say prestige. They advance together because the same actions pay both, but you cannot convert one into the other at a shop.

How a round feeds XP

A typical session is about ten minutes. You join a 12-player instance, pick Red or Blue, and play until the scoreboard settles. Actions that help the team win also help the account:

  • Digging is slow XP and slow Cash. It is still worth doing because it opens the 50-point flag and the nuke pad.
  • Kills are the reliable personal farm. Seven Cash a pop adds up if you are the lobby rusher.
  • Flag is the burst. One capture equals more than seven kills. It is also how close rounds flip.
  • Nuke is the closer. A 15-second mid-map launch wipes the other team and usually locks the win. The launcher also gets the Launch a NUKE! badge.
  • Winning the round is the chunk the losing side does not get. If you only pad kills on a team that never touches flag or nuke, you can still lose the XP race to a quieter player on the winning side.

MVP (most points in that round) is a separate badge, not a rank. You can be Prestige 5 and never have it; you can be new and get it on a lucky flag-heavy game.

What players mean by prestige

Prestige is the reset-style label people use when the number next to their name has rolled. Comments on community videos mention Prestige 5 as a flex, Prestige 1 as a milestone someone is proud of, and weapon levels around 200 as the point where tools feel broken to a new player. Shovel and sword “300%” is the same kind of report: a veteran tool that excavates or deletes in a fraction of the time a stock tool needs.

None of those figures are confirmed in a patch note. Version 2.8.32 (4 August 2026) did not ship a public rank blog. The updates hub explains how to read the version string; it will not magically grow an XP table. When this wiki says “late-game,” it means “accounts that have converted a lot of rounds into Cash and Rank XP,” not a named bracket.

Why high-prestige lobbies feel unfair

Servers are public. There are no VIP servers, no ranked playlist, no MMR. A brand-new account can land next to someone who has been buying sword damage since 2022. That person still has the same four tools you do. They do not have a fifth gun. What they have is:

  • Sword damage high enough that a tunnel trade is not a trade.
  • Gun cooldown short enough that a missed shot is not a death sentence.
  • Shovel speed that opens a flag route before you finish your first hole.
  • Map knowledge — perch holes, nuke timing, when not to run the surface.

That feels like a pay-to-win class. It is actually a time-to-win class, plus optional Robux for the rocket pass and shop potions. You cannot skip it with a code, but you can shorten the ugly part: redeem the live like-milestone on codes (360K as of September 2026), then follow the upgrade planner so the Cash hits sword and gun instead of First Aid vanity.

If the lobby is truly miserable — six upgraded swords camping your spawn — leave and requeue. Twelve-player instances turn over constantly. You are not stuck in a ranked decay.

What this page will not do

  • Name ranks that do not exist in a developer post.
  • Publish a fake XP-per-win formula.
  • Claim Prestige 5 is the cap, or that 300% is a hard stat.
  • Treat fan clans as a prestige track. Groups like VoD Clan are player communities; they do not grant Rank XP.

Progress the account by winning rounds and spending Cash in the right order. Track the four badges as side goals. When a teammate types a prestige number in chat, read it as “this person has played a lot,” then check whether they are actually digging, rushing, or sitting on spawn with a rifle. The number is not the playstyle. For jobs, use the playstyle tier list. For the rest of the account stack, return to the players hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Underground War 2.0 players.

Is there an official Underground War 2.0 rank list?

No. capserg has not published XP thresholds or rank names. Community mentions of Prestige 5 and weapon level ~200 are player reports, not a table.

Does winning a round give more XP than kills?

Wins matter. Kills, blocks, and flags pay Cash and help the team bar; the round result is the extra chunk the losing side misses. Exact XP values are unpublished.

Why does a prestige player delete me in one swing?

Sword damage Cash stacks over time. Same sword tool, bigger number. Spend your Cash on damage and gun cooldown, and requeue if the lobby is all veterans.

Can codes skip prestige?

No. Codes grant Cash and a potion. That speeds upgrades, not Rank XP prestige. There is no rank skip item.
