Tier List Hub

This hub ranks what actually swings a 12-player round in Underground War 2.0, not what looks flashy in a thumbnail. capserg’s remake is a short 6v6 match: you spawn Red or Blue, dig through dirt, fight with a shovel, sword, and sniper, and try to steal the enemy flag. Two blocks of dirt are worth 1 team point and $1 Cash. A kill is worth 7 points and $7. A flag capture is worth 50 points and $50. When your team’s bar is high enough, someone can walk to the mid-map nuke and start a 15-second countdown that wipes the other side. Those numbers are the entire economy. A tier list that ignores them is just a weapon beauty contest.

The current live client is version 2.8.32 (stamped 4 August 2026 on the Roblox page). There is no public patch blog, so this ranking is a meta snapshot for that build, not a promise that tomorrow’s like-milestone will leave the tools unchanged. Typical servers sit around 2–4k concurrent players; Christmas 2025 peaked at 15,504. You will see brand-new accounts and Prestige 5 veterans in the same 12-player instance. That spread is why skill floor and Cash efficiency sit next to raw power in the criteria below.

How this list is ranked

Three questions, in order:

  1. Round impact. Does this tool or job change the scoreboard in the next two minutes, or does it only pad a personal stat?
  2. Skill floor. Can a new player get value on the first life, or does it require map knowledge, upgraded cooldowns, and a team that already holds space?
  3. Cash efficiency. Does spending upgrade Cash here pay back in points, or are you feeding a luxury that only matters after other stats are already high?

Nuke is not a loadout slot. It is the team’s win condition once the point bar is ready. Flag is not a weapon. It is the burst point button. Both belong on a meta list because a round that never touches them is leaving 50-point swings and a wipe on the table. Read the weapon tier list for S–C tool rankings, then the playstyle tier list for who should actually be holding those tools.

Tool snapshot

Sniper (S for map control). Free, long range, cooldown between shots. After you buy gun cooldown, a perched rifle owns surface lanes and punishes flag runners who pop out of a hole. Before those upgrades it is a two-shot tax that loses to anyone who closes the gap. High skill floor, excellent Cash efficiency once cooldown is funded.

Sword (S in tunnels). Free, melee, Cash buys damage. Underground War is a dirt map. Most fights happen in one-block corridors where a rifle cannot lead a shot. A damage-upgraded sword wins those rooms. New players can already contest a tunnel with it; veterans with high sword percent (community talk puts late-game around 300% shovel/sword — unofficial) delete people who still swing a stock blade.

Shovel (A for pathing and points). Free. Holding it near dirt excavates automatically. Two blocks = 1 point and $1, so a dedicated digger is a slow ATM and a road crew at the same time. Shovel speed upgrades matter if your job is opening a flag route or collapsing a sniper perch. They matter less if you never leave spawn melee range.

Rocket (A if you own the pass, B if you do not). Game pass Rocket Launcher + Classic Skin, 350 Robux, pass id 49150929. Slow projectile, high damage, useless if you dump Cash into it without owning the pass. Even owners should treat it as a tunnel trap plus sword finish, not a sniper replacement. The weapon page covers that split in detail.

Medkit (utility, not a combat tier). One use per life. It does not score. It stops a chip-death from handing the enemy 7 points. First Aid speed is the last Cash dump for most accounts.

Win-condition snapshot

Nuke (team S). Fifteen seconds on the mid-map device. If your squad can hold the interact and the countdown, the round is over. A solo hero who never looks at the bar is throwing. Pair this with the nuke guide rather than treating the device as a personal flex.

Flag (burst A). Fifty points and $50 is more than seven kills. A clean capture can unlock nuke or steal a close round. It is also the highest-risk job on the map: you are visible, slow, and everyone on the other team can hear the objective. The flag guide is the how-to; this hub only ranks the impact.

How to use the two child pages

If you are choosing what to upgrade, open weapons and then the upgrade planner. Sword damage and gun cooldown are the default first spends. Shovel speed is for pathers and flag runners. Rocket Cash is for pass owners only. If you are choosing what to do this life, open playstyles. Digger, rusher, sniper perch, flag runner, nuke caller, and medkit support each have a round they win and a round they waste.

Do not copy a YouTuber’s loadout if your Cash, prestige, and team already disagree with it. A Prestige 5 rifle with a short cooldown is not the same gun a day-one account is holding. Community comments talk about weapon level around 200 and Prestige 5 as late-game; those numbers are not an official table. Rank the job you can actually perform in this lobby.

New accounts should redeem the live like-milestone code on the codes hub (360K as of September 2026) before they argue about tiers. A free Cash drop moves you up the efficiency axis faster than any ranking paragraph. Then play a few rounds, notice whether your deaths are tunnel swings or surface peeks, and pick the child page that matches that death.

This list will move if capserg changes cooldowns, shovel speed, or nuke timing. Until a new version string appears in the experience description, treat Sniper and Sword as the two S-tools, Shovel as the map-maker, Rocket as a paid specialist, Nuke as the team closer, and Flag as the 50-point spike.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Underground War 2.0 players.

What is S tier in Underground War 2.0 right now?

Sniper after cooldown upgrades, and Sword in tunnels. Nuke is the team win condition, not a personal weapon slot. See the weapon tier list for the S–C breakdown.

Should I buy the Rocket pass to climb the tier list?

Only if you already like close-range traps. The 350 Robux pass is A in the hands of an owner and irrelevant if you do not have it. Spend Cash on sword and gun first either way.

Is flag better than kills for ranking up?

A capture is 50 points and $50 versus 7 and $7 for a kill, so yes when the route is open. It is also the easiest way to feed a spree if you run it alone. Use a flag-runner playstyle with a dug path.

How often is this meta updated?

When the Roblox description version changes. Live stamp is 2.8.32 as of 4 August 2026. There is no public patch blog; version history tracks what is documented.
